This is an open event for anyone who has an interest in space and science, is over 12 years old, and regardless of their level of knowledge and professional background.
Minors aged 12 to 18 must be registered and accompanied by a responsible adult.
While it is allowed for a participant to create a team and submit a project independently, we encourage everyone to be part of a real team. We have found that the most successful projects come from teams made up of people with a variety of skills and backgrounds.
Teams can be one to six people but the ideal size for a team is four to five people to balance skill sets. No more than six people are allowed per team.
Registrations are now open and will remain open until the end of the hackathon on October 6, 2024. (11:59 p.m. hora local). To participate in the hackathon: You need to create an account at https://www.spaceappschallenge.org/ Register for the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2024. I chose Córdoba as the venue for your local event, either in person or virtual. Participants must register individually, not as teams. Building your team is a separate process.
This year, the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the National University of Córdoba is opening its doors to us as the venue for Space Apps: Enrique Barros Avenue, no number. University City.

A personal computer, your ID, an extension cord (slipper or extension cord), because the facilities do not always have the necessary for everyone, pendrive or portable disks, thermos/glass or whatever you use for water (there are hot/cold water dispensers), at lunch and dinner times the cafeteria will be open with a limited menu and you can also bring your lunch box to eat there, and according to the project you are going to do the materials you need for its elaboration. The place has internet connection.
There is no cost to participate in the NASA Space Apps Challenge. If you are asked to pay money to participate in any aspect of a NASA Space Apps event, do not pay anything and please report to [email protected].
